The Role
The job was great and it was a good being around and working with other placement students, so gave you a good work-life balance!
Everyone was very welcoming when I started my placement and their was support throughout the whole duration of my placement.
As part of the job you had to work alone in certain situations and use your initiative. However, if support or guidance was needed this was always available.
This varied depending on the season as certain times were alot busier than others depending on if we had events and also the season.
Projects which benefit the business unit as a whole.
I have developed many skills and in particular how to speak to people in a professional manner within the business enviroment. I have also gained a wider understanding on how the processes within a business work, not only within a department but the business as whole.
The Company
The atmosphere was good within the office and I always felt at ease.
The placement was organised from day one with inductions and training.
The company enabled me to go to different events and explore more into the motorcycle industry.
Limited.
The Culture
Yes, I lived with a bunch of other students which was good as it allowed a hint of the student life!
Very cheap!
Average, although if there is a big group you can have a good night!
In terms of sports activties for guys this was a little better than for girls.
