Overview
Organising travel for colleagues to events, checking documents are correct. Ordering stock for the warehouse and ensuring expenses are all accounted for.
Skills
Now proficient in EBP and SAP programs, as well as developing my own time management skills and improved my confidence within the workplace.
Responsibilities
Yes, due to members of the team leaving. One to go on maternity leave and the other for a new job opportunity, I was given a lot more responsibility than previous placement students in my position.
Support & Guidance
I worked with multiple departments during my placement and so always had multiple mangers on hand to help me out if I needed it as well as HR.
Culture
Very friendly and welcoming, everyone works very closely with each other so was a very nice atmosphere to be a part of.
Your Impressions
I loved my placement year. Seems odd going back to just being a student.
Yes
Ensure you are well organised and go into it with an open mind, Due to the nature of the motorsport industry things are always changing so you need to be prepared to make changes, sometimes very last minute.
