    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed working at American Express. The transation from university to having a full time job was very smooth because everyone at Amex was friendly and was happy to help. Campus recruitment planned outings weekly during the summer which meant that I was able to experience the social side of working as well. I would definatly consider applying to American Express once I have graduated.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I was always seen as an equal on my team, no one looked down on me because I was the most junior member of the team. As everyone is so friendly it is easy to build professional relationships at Amex.
