The Role
I did feel valued but was very much labelled the 'student' .
My manager looked after EMEA so was not in the office very often. You could ring if you needed to though, but there was not really the need.
This depended on what was going on events wise. Some weeks were hectic, others were slow.
Was much more of an assistant role so did not get as much responsibility as I would have liked.
Did not receive training as such, but learnt and developed a lot myself.
The Company
The general work environment was very quiet which was definately a draw back. A lot of people worked virtually so on these days it was very quiet. Much better when people were about.
We had designated jobs for the year so organised in this sense. Had to sometimes chase people for stuff to do though.
There was nothing organised, but if you wanted to do something and asked then it was possible. I took a course in Excel which the company paid for and allowed me to attend in work hours.

It is a good organisation but is not the sort of company I would want to continue in Marketing. It is definately used as a support function for sales and thus I feel the whole marketing team are undervalued, not just students!
The Culture
No, as not many students.
Very expensive.
No one really went out from work, but nightlife would have been good as in London.
Not with work. There are a lot of opportunities in London generally but as the salary was particularly low it was not always possible.
