  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Very friendly and helpful environment

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • It depends on each colleague individually. Over-all I would say I have made some really good friends with whom I will stay in contanct after I have finished my placement.

  • Whenever I would have a question it would be answered by one or another stuff member.

  • Due to recession and big decrease in orders, I did not have much to do.

  • As a placement student could not be running the show but sill had some projects with a high responsibility levels.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Learned how to use new, before unknown to my, software programs, like AutoCAD, CAPP, MiniTAB

  • Cannot say anything bad about the atmosphere in my office.

  • Not bad, but could have been better, if more would be given.

  • Not much, but in the same time I took part in some training, software licenses were bought for my use.

  • Don't mind coming back after I graduate to gain some more experience.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • A few meeting and nights out were organised by and for placement students

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Stayed in Bradford and Braford is very cheap/

  • For a town like Huddersfield, nightlife offers a big choice of places to go.

  • We organised a few football sesions, as well as, bowling and some other.
