  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • VPI Purchasing - VPI = Value Package Introduction, working on new or limited production engines. Collaborating with a range of people across the business function, communicating constantly with suppliers to keep track of parts.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • developed a Range of skills as well as improved my own. Professional Communication improved drastically having to lead meetings ask questions and take notes on information being shared during meetings, Problem solving been given a new or different task day to day forces you to think differently to solve the problems effectively. Time management having multiple different tasks due at different or same time makes you efficient with your time.

  • Yes was given a few different responsibility's tasked with in charge of a few suppliers as well as having Cost files needing to be completed Bi monthly, MCN sheet complete every week.

  • received a great deal of support having a team of people around who are all ways able to talk to help me out who were all ways able to guide me to make the best decisions when i was in need of help.
