    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I had previosuly considered a career in insurance and reinsurance broking but I saw this as an opportunity to see if I really wanted to work within the industry. This placement has 100% confirmed to me that I want to pursue a career in the industry. I have been supported throughout the entire process by enthusiastic and very friendly employees at Aon. Everyone has helped to get me involved and I have really felt that I have been valued by each of the teams that I have worked for. My supervisor (Alison Burgess) has been especially helpful, getting me into contact with different teams, helping me to get involved in different projects and offering support for whatever questions I may have had. The internship has been structured excellently so even outisde of the support of my supervisor, I have always had someone to talk to for whatever reason. This internship has been one of the best experiences that I have ever had and I am truely grateful to everyone who I have worked with for all of their support.
