    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • The role normally involves answering prospective proposals and engaging with people across the business to answer specific questions. If this successfully goes to pitch, you work with the team to produce a pitch deck, give feedback and make any adjustments. In quieter periods I get involved in other projects to improve relationships with existing clients and/or drive new business.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Given lots of responsibility! Responsible developing written answers, modelling portfolios, modelling risk and fees levels that were submitted to clients as well as for all our quarterly and monthly reporting. Worked on pitch proposals and was able to suggest ideas to put forwards. Also given the opportunity to attend a couple of client meetings.
