    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I have really enjoyed my time here; I have been on an internship here previously so knew what to expect but in general it has been good and I;ve expanded on my previous knowledge and skillset.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Everyone is really nice and easy to get along with.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Management has been very approachable and my buddy was also very helpful!

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Some days I had a good amount of work on to keep me busy - especially towards the beginning. Later on, the work dwindled a bit so I didn't have as much.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I have definitely given a very good deal of responsibility during my time here, including making calls, sending out e-mails etc, and doing important work which is really nice and has definitely improved my confidence.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • So many skills: communication, organizational, presentation skills, and the training has also developed my knowledge a lot.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • At some points it was very quiet and other times louder. In general though, it was a very positive atmosphere so you can work when you need to but it's still very relaxed so you can have the odd chat too!

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • It was very well organized; the only problem I encountered was that I was unable to use Office Communicator, and a few of my fellow interns had the same problem.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I had a good amount of training to remind me of how things work, but to be fair I didn't need a great deal of training as I had already been here previously on an internship. Hence I would say I had the right amount.

    3/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • 4/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Very appealing; I enjoyed the work and the office atmosphere and would really like to work here!

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes, there were regular socials and people generally get along well and have a good laugh.

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Not too expensive, if you know where to go!

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • I didn't go out at night in the area I worked so I can't really say!

    3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There were a fair few socials and also other events like netball matches; so a good many opportunities.

    4/5
