The Role
I loved everything about NetApp, the people, the experience, the atmosphere!
NetApp are like a big family, no matter who you are you are all treated with respect.
Any problems or if i needed help, my manager was there for me.
It was great, when i didn't have my individual work, i had the intern project to work on, and I was always pushed to have my own ideas, my own thoughts on how i could improve things at NetApp.
i was given a lot of responsibility, it was hard at the beginning, however I've now become much more organised and confident, having a company as big as NetApp give me this much responsibility is hard to find, rare intact.
I believe the skills i have will stay with me for life, i have worked along sides managers, building a close bondage with them, and learning so much from what they have experience has changed me as a person.
The Company
It can be extremely busy and very fun, however its always a professional environment, the kitchen area has a pool table, theres also a big space for microwaves and fridge, so the feeling of being able to work and relax when things get stressful is unique. There is always something going on from family fun day to pastry fridays!
Had a lot of support from HR, managers & our recruiter with regular meetings
training was available all the time online, we even had training on how to have a successful presentation and build our leadership skills. NetApp invest a lot in stress management workshops and lot of other things too. Its always about looking after the employee, and developing them to bring out the best.

no graduate scheme yet, however with the contacts I've made there, and just the fact I've worked with them and done the things i have done, I can honestly say I'm a good candidate for a lot of the jobs out there.
The Culture
Always.
Average costs.
That was fine too.
I had opportunities to do some volunteer work for Groundworks, very fun indeed.
