    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • As part of my role within the Operations team I take part in a range of service support tasks as well as engage in the set up for a new platform for clients. Additionally, I assist members of my team with their BAU commitments to their dedicated clients and business units.

  • Even after only being here a few months I have had the chance to progress my existing skill set and develop a set of new soft and hard skills. Ranging from communication and interpersonal skills to the analytical.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Having been here only a few months I have spent a large majority of my time training. However, as I have become more confident in the processes I need to engage with, I can already see a shift in how I am being allocated my tasks with a greater level of trust and independence.

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • I have received a great level of support from within my team. I have regular catch-ups with three different members of the team who aid in my development in different ways. No matter how small or large the support I need is, I know that I have different avenues I can turn to.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • The company has a hybrid way of working. In the beginning I found this challenging as it was quite hard to mix with other members of my department. However, as everyone was warm and welcoming I was able to overcome this initial barrier and have really been able to immerse myself into the company community.

  • Kantar is such a large company with a variety of teams that are essential to its day to day functioning's. Take advantage of any opportunities you have to learn more about the various departments Kantar has on offer.
