    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • In Client Service, I frequently liased with clients, creating reports and bespoke briefs. In Client Delivery, I had to solve issues and tickets based on our new system and help with the set up of clients onto MWP.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • I have developed several skills, including presentation (having had the opportunity to present to several clients and internally), team work (having to work on bespoke briefs and MWP issues with large groups), problem solving (having to solve issues with our system and answer client requests that sometimes were unclear), and time-management (having to juggle several different tasks and create priority lists).

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • I was given lots of responsibility, particularly closer to the end of my tenure. I had the opportunity to create a bespoke brief and present to the managing director of a brand, and led on many projects.

  • I received help consistently throughout, from placement supervisor, line managers and the teams in general.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Company culture was excellent. It was very relaxed, getting to wear casual wear. In the office everyone was super friendly and it was a very nice environment to be in.

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I really enjoyed my placement. I think the fact that I had two separate six months stints perhaps made it harder to fully achieve and grow in one role. However, overall I think I have developed massively and found it really useful for my career growth.

  • I would say it is important to show passion for the role that you are going into. Also, be aware that there are two separate placements now, so make sure you choose the one that works best for you!
