    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Worked in Marine Cargo broking. My day-to-day consists of looking at accounts up for renewal, looking into tax exemptions/regulations. Meetings with underwriters/other colleagues within the business.

  • Developed better time management skills. Built up my independence/confidence to be able to work out of my comfort zone, as well as meeting or working with new people.

  • Everyone is very friendly and open to helping. People are easy to talk to and offer great advice and support. There is a big emphasis on work-life balance: everyone works at their own pace but still meets deadlines set.
