Overview
Shadowing individuals to learn about the day-to-day, including learning the systems. Meeting with people in different sectors, to learn more about the company as a whole. Attending internship events to increase my knowledge of Aon and what they offer.
Skills
My public speaking skills have improved drastically, as we had to complete presentations as teams in front of a large number of people. I have developed my organisational skills, technical skills and confidence.
Responsibilities
As the internship progressed, I was aloud to get more hands on with day-to-day work such as sending emails for people. Through shadowing people I also got to input what I thought was necessary.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support and encouragement from my team. They were so helpful if I had any questions and were always there to set me work.
Culture
The atmosphere was a lovely place to work with everybody being so friendly, making me feel very welcome on my internship.
