  • Checking over document review tags, populating tax software with company information, collecting company info from companies house, calling HMRC to update their records.

  • I was given a small amount of responsibility in the scope of my very limited tax expertise. All my work was reviewed by one of the managers.

  • The team were very friendly and helpful. EY also has a robust support network for the summer interns and do a health and wellbeing catchup near the end of your placement.

  • I had a great time getting to know the team and expanded my knowledge on tax law, processing and technology. The Newcastle office is a pleasure to work in with a very friendly and welcoming environment.

  • The application process isn't as drawn out and off-putting as many other companies so it really is worth applying. Getting one of the Big 4 on your CV can open a lot of doors and make a substantial difference
