What is the Tax Graduate Programme? 

This is a three-year paid graduate programme where you'll work across various UK & Ireland (UK&I) or Financial Services (FS) tax teams. You'll help companies manage every element of their tax affairs and tax risk policies with a key focus on sustainability. You'll also learn more about your strengths, get help and support from experienced colleagues, and work towards becoming a qualified tax advisor.

You will: 

• Work with start-ups, large corporations and high-profile individuals 
• Build an incredible network of important client relationships 
• Learn on the job alongside other experienced senior colleagues 
• Gain practical experience doing complex client work, gaining an overview of worldwide tax requirements and making an impact by tackling the challenges our clients face.

By the end of the programme, you'll gain a Chartered Accountancy qualification (ICAS or ICAEW) with the option to work towards a Chartered Tax Advisor (CIOT) qualification. If you're working for us in England, the programme is classed as a Level 7 Apprenticeship — equivalent to a master's degree.

Eligibility for Visa Sponsorship:

Locations: Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship from EY. Please note, Graduate visas are not eligible as right to work for this vacancy as this role will not meet the Skilled Worker salary threshold before the Graduate visa expires.

Locations: Aberdeen, Bristol, Cambridge: This vacancy has restrictions on providing visa sponsorship. Applicants must either be able to secure your own right to work in the UK without the sponsorship or support of EY or obtain a Graduate visa with an expiry date on or after 1st October 2025.

Locations: London, Luton, Reading: This vacancy is able to offer visa sponsorship if you are unable to secure the right to work in the UK yourself.
