Overview
carrying out validation surveys for various housing associations across the country to make sure that all the data that has been recorded is correct and to highlight any issue.
Skills
i have learned ow to carry out a stock condition survey, measured survey, structural survey and impressionistic survey. further more working in a team environment has helped my communication skills.
Responsibilities
i had a couple of projects where i was running the filed work side of things, this meant meeting deadlines and ensuring that the work was carried out to a high standard.
Support & Guidance
throughout the placement i got plenty of support and guidance as there was always someone on hand to provide me with any help should i asked for it.
Culture
the company culture is very good everyone gets on and there is regular social events to boost morale and encourage bonding between teams that you wouldn't usually work with.
Your Impressions
i enjoyed my placement as i felt it gave me the knowledge and confidence i needed to help progress in my career. i have always felt at home and welcome whilst on placement which made my time here much more enjoyable.

be prepared for long hours and working away from home as a lot of the work available is down the south east of England.
