    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Manage & own the PFEP template and processes. Clean and Prepare data to be uploaded to Power Bi Dashboards. Design New & Improve existing dashboards to serve specific needs of stakeholders. Drive engagement in the 'Plan For Every Part' Data Cube & Dashboards. Prepare and play a part in running the monthly PFEP council meeting. Improve PFEP process using new tools such as Data Lake, Power Automate etc...

  • I developed my presentation skills; I feel a lot more confident speaking in front of various stakeholders- got the opportunity to this plenty of times during my internship. Massively developed my data analysis skills (Specifically power Bi) from a beginner level to above intermediate. Written communication skills- writing effective emails. Project Management/Collaboration/ Working in a Team

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • I was responsible for the maintenance & development of the full PFEP process - Data Prep., Power Bi Dashboards, Data exports, Driving Engagement. Designated Power Bi expert in my team. Had major role in preparing & Presenting monthly council meeting.

  • Three Zoom calls (Minimum) / week to touch base with managers. Always felt supported and they had concerns for my workload and work/life balance.

  • Very friendly Welcoming Flat-Hierarchy ; never felt lower down than other staff because I was a student
