The Role
the placment was very useful both for my professional and career development
the environment within the company is very friendly and chilled out; was treated like a professional all times
complete training on the product(s) was given in the first two months and was involved in the devolepment of the product(s) all the way throught the placement
oftenly had work every day, was never bored or insanely busy
decently responsible on the project tasks but was monitered on critical circuitry, was always trusted on the given tasks
learnt more than what i did in the 2years at uni, developed essential skills required for an electronic engineer in practical world, developed management skills, was also trained and wrote software scripts. i think these 13months will be very useful for my career
The Company
chilled out, flexible, very helpful, not condescending
very well organised
sufficient training was given
Flexi Time
Company Car
Above 25 days holiday
depends whether the any project team needs an extra hand
The Culture
as there were 14 placment students within the company you will never miss uni/student life
decent if you are not from london you might find it a bit expensive
its alright on wednesdays as it is a student night cuz of the uni within town, any other days are decent but dont expect much
not really as it is not a big town but not far away to find something in london
