  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Assisting the actuarial team with their work. This included Valuations, Factor Reviews, Billing, Risk Modelling, Client Emails and RSG work.

  • Yes a good amount of responsibility was given from varying seniority levels. Everyone was always happy to help out if I was ever stuck on anything or had any questions.

  • There was a lot of support and guidance given. From the Buddy System to the colleagues in your office there were various avenues of accessing support. The internship was structured to expose you to as many people as possible but in meaningful way.

  • Very friendly and welcoming. Everyone I encountered was genuinely happy to help and engage in conversation.

  • Make sure you are friendly and yourself when it comes to the interviews. Ensure you have researched the company beforehand and looked into their recent developments so that you can ask questions or incorporate it into your answers. Be genuine and authentic through all your interactions and you will be able to network with others and learn more.
