    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • 1) Learning sessions with my manager and completing tasks (mostly in Excel) following these sessions. These lessons really developed my understanding of the role. 2) Social impact project. This involves working in a team of interns to complete an social assignment. We had to write a report and give a presentation as part of this. 3) Networking and reaching out to colleagues across the business.

  • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to Aon
  • Be patient. Aon is a great company, but they are not very quick on the admin side when it comes to intern applicants. If you are successful, throw yourself into it and do the very best you can. Network with lots of people and don't forget to write things down! You'll learn a lot so a notebook will be your best friend.
