The Role
It was challenging at the beginning as was a bit of a work shock. However, everyone was really helpful and so it got easier as I understood the project further.
Everyone at AMEX throughout my internship was amazing. The colleagues are all so helpful and welcoming!
My buddy and manager were amazing in supporting me throughout my internship. They taught me how to code and helped me with any questions or tasks I had throughout the 6 weeks
I worked from 9-7 most days. It was a lot of work but I would say you can do as much or as little as you want and work as late as you want depending on your internship and workload.
A great amount - I lead presentations with the wider market and it was a large amount of responsibility as the work I was doing was really having an impact in the wider project at hand.
Coding skills, Networking, being more confident in my abilities.
The Company
It was virtual but was great still. Socialised with other interns and members of my team.
REally well done - I felt supported the entire time!
They invested a lot, especially seen through me learning how to code which was great!
Flexi Time
Working from home
Really great - there is an opportunity to get onto the grad scheme for next year which is really motivating.
The Culture
Yes - although virtual we all had chats and really got to know each other and helped each other throughout the internship. Was a great community.
It was a virtual internship so everything was at home! Good as no need to commute!
London but covid meant we didn't go out!
We were virtual but there were great chats online and other activities on offer which was great!
