  • I really enjoyed my internship with American Express. They have really tried hard to make every employee feel welcome, no matter how long you are with the company. Everyone is always willing to meet with you and chat about what work you're currently doing.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I often had a few things to do but I would never say I was swamped with work which is good when you're an intern. I still felt like I was adding to the company in this way.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I felt like I was given just the right level of responsibility on this internship. My team had an important role so I wasn't given a huge amount of responsibility.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I developed many excellent skills while being here, mainly my excel skills and PowerPoint/presenting skills. My financial skills also came on leaps and bounds and really mad me understand finance in a more applicable way.
