The Role
I really enjoyed my placement - it was really engaging and everyone here is lovely and supportive. They really care whether you are satisfied and ensure care and support. People the around the company - who aren't even involved in your team- will even take the time to talk to you.
THey gave me continuous feedback, listened to me, wanted to understand where I wanted to personally develop and really helped me enhance my skills. They gave me responsibilities and tasks relevant to my skills and team. I wasn't given "classic" or "expected" intern duties.
Plenty of supervisors - they constantly checked to see if I was interested and had enough support within the team. My manager in particular, despite his busy scheduale, always made time to catch up with me and really emphasized that which I really appreciated.
Not constantly - it varied - got busier towards the end. I was the right amout of busy - I was never particularly stressed.
Enough responsibility to make decisions and come up with ideas but also enough that I knewthat I had support.
Really enhanced my learning and the way I approach my degree and how to go about it and assignments.
The Company
Very bubbly but also hard working. People were sociable. There were loads of socials and and they were really welcoming.
Most organized internship I have ever been on. Continuous check ups, loads of socials and everything ran smoothly - I did not worry once.
A lot! I did not come to the job with Excel skills and they were prepared to invest in an excel coach for just me.
