    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Extremely good placement where the teams will help you develop and get a great sense of the corporate world.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt extremely valued by my colleagues.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Initially the support was amazing and then as you progress you are given more independence which is really nice.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Naturally the start of this placement starts of quieter than the rest of it. Once the initial hand over month is over the work starts to increase and some days were extremely busy.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • The responsibility was much more than most interns are given in other placements. Everything you deal with has a large impact on the business in which they trust you to complete at a high standard.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I think this placement year will help me dramatically in my future jobs. It gave me great insights to know what it was like working in a corporate tech company.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The office environment definitely was not dull and you get to know your team very well which makes working here a really nice experience.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • This is a proper job and I did not see it as a placement towards the end of it. Therefore, in my view it was set up perfectly.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I managed to go on negotiation training and a lot of customer meeting which was essential for my development.

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Company Parties/Events

    Staff Sales/Staff Shop

    Above 25 days holiday

    Working from home

    Healthcare from home

    5/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • A lot of previous interns come back full-time here which is great and shows that there is a good chance of getting a job if that is what you wish to do.

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Fellow placement students were good fun and there was always someone looking to do something.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Quite an expensive place to live and socialise but worth it for the placement.

    2/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • The nightlife is nothing special but definitely not terrible meaning we still went out.

    3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Lots of socialising and volunteering to get involved in that the company provided and this can vary depending on teams,.

    4/5
