  • I learned to be organised, work under pressure and work with other solicitors.

    3/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It was focused on work, meeting deadlines and we were placed in offices alone which meant that we had control over what work we did. However, it felt like there was too much pressure to get work from different departments rather than concentrate on the areas that you were interested in,

    3/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • There was not much structure in the sense that we had to find our work and did not have a seat. But we had formally organised social events and a mid placement review which was good.

    3/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I found that other firms allowed the students to attend training sessions which were more enlightening. There were several opportunities to meet senior members of the team and work with the partners who were heading the department.

    3/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Subsidised Canteen

    1/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • The non-rotational system has to be something that appeals to you because it really makes a huge difference to your experience.

    3/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • The placements students were very friendly and we all got along very well and I found that some of the solicitors were very friendly also.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • There were several places to go out at night since it was in London.

    3/5
