The Role
Both my mentee and my supervisor were always on hand to help and offer guidance when needed. They were both also really nice people!
As we have to go and fetch the work ourselves- it meant we were in control of our workload from Day 1. Once you get the hang of walking the floors - you find yourself getting some really interesting work.
This has been the most responsibility I have been given on a Vac Scheme - you almost feel like a trainee!
The Company
The firm really has an open door policy so it is easy to walk into an office and find yourself talking for 20 mins - its a good office atmospehere.
You can tell that a lot of thought and effort is put into the way the scheme is run and everything is done at a good time. There was never a time I was bored or wished we had something 'fun' to do. The events put on for us were great - I even learned how to play poker!
We had midscheme discussions and HR were always on hand for any questions and concerns we had.
... Fingers crossed
The Culture
Yes, we got on really well so on days where nothing was organised we would find something for us all to do.
Netball was really good fun
