The Role
Well organised, friendly firm, and I got the feeling I was making a real contribution to real work
Nobody too busy to talk to you
I was encouraged to find my own work, supervision was there if I needed it but otherwise I was free to do my own thing
Busy at times, but I was encouraged to seek out as much work as I wanted- so this wasn't the firm's fault
I felt there was a good balance between being able to work independently on important issues and having someone there to check over and comment on what you had contributed
I learnt a lot of transferable skills alongside the things I learnt about the firm and the people who work there
The Company
The atmosphere was friendly and laid back
Very well organised and structured
I felt the firm took me, and what I had to offer, seriously
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Competition is fierce and there are a lot of talented people on the vacation scheme, hopefully they offer me a training contract!
The Culture
We organised a few nights out amongst ourselves
Normal for London
Covent Garden and Chinatown are on the firm's doorstep- no complaints
The pro bono work was really interesting
