    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • One of the most enjoyable vac schemes which offers a true reflection of working life in the firm.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Really friendly trainees who genuinely value your considered opinions. Intellectual discussions with partners on the legal technicalities of certain issues.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The nature of the training here is that the onus is on you to get work. Thus, it is up to you to clarify with your supervisor what they want, but this actually works really well because it ensures that you know what is expected of you and if you have any questions (sensisble!) they are always willing to answer them.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Most days very busy, but in a good way. If you find yourself without work you can simply walk the floors to find someone else with some work for you.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • As much responsibility as is possible to give Vac scheme students. Really good balance.
