The Role
I really enjoyed my internship with Aon and can very much see a future with the company, I hope to be able to continue this with a graduate role.
The atmosphere in the office was extremely welcoming, I was treated as a friend and also felt like a respected colleague.
I had regular manager catchups and a recent graduate 'buddy' to help me.
The first half of the internship was fairly slow, but work picked up and I was plenty busy during the latter weeks.
I felt like the work I was doing was valuable and that I was depended on by colleagues
The experience has given me great confidence and insight into the actuarial world and I'd feel very confident taking up a garduate role or applying for similar positions elsewhere
The Company
Very positive and friendly, I got on very well with my colleagues and I did not feel out of place
Overall it was extremely well organised. I would only say that maybe details such as hotel accomodation would have been welcomed slightly more in advance.
I felt that all of the interns were treated as the future of the company, and that Aon had really put a lot of time and resources into the early careers process

Company Parties/Events
I very much hope that I will recieve a job offer to stay working with Aon
The Culture
Absolutely, I feel that I have made good friends and that Aon assisted this with events organised within the internship
I lived in Birmingham which is very much a student city and so prices were fairly affordable
Very good
I joined the netball team and participated in a weekend away for a tournament organised by Aon, one of the highlights of my internship
