The Role
People were all very nice and supportive, easy to work with. Good induction to Macmillan and meeting members of the team.
Had weekly catch ups with manager, attended team meetings and good general working relationships.
Helped with CV writing, job interview practise and even identified a job I should apply for which I'm currently in!
Either too busy, or not enough to do! But I think that's the nature of most work!
No specific skills training, but gained a lot of experience of the workplace and interpersonal skills
The Company
Very work orientated, but people were easy to have a joke with and office was never silent.
No specific training given, but people took the time to explain thier roles, set me up with IT email and pass and did on line health and safety training.
I got a job with them! Which I love!
The Culture
Not sure
Live to far away to know about cost of living and socialising
No idea! Plenty of pubs where we had quizzes etc
Pub quizes, book clubs, away day events....
