    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • People were all very nice and supportive, easy to work with. Good induction to Macmillan and meeting members of the team.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Had weekly catch ups with manager, attended team meetings and good general working relationships.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Helped with CV writing, job interview practise and even identified a job I should apply for which I'm currently in!

  • Either too busy, or not enough to do! But I think that's the nature of most work!

  • No specific skills training, but gained a lot of experience of the workplace and interpersonal skills

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Very work orientated, but people were easy to have a joke with and office was never silent.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • No specific training given, but people took the time to explain thier roles, set me up with IT email and pass and did on line health and safety training.

  • I got a job with them! Which I love!

  • Not sure

  • Live to far away to know about cost of living and socialising

  • No idea! Plenty of pubs where we had quizzes etc

  • Pub quizes, book clubs, away day events....
