The Role
I thouroughly enjoyed my placement, met some great people and had a good time whilst working. I undertook a variety of work and gained some valuable experience. I was provided with plenty of opportunity to expand my knowledge and create some good working relationships. These will all help me in the future.
Working in a close-nit team, I feel valued by colleagues who were always willing to discuss any problems I had as well as listen to my opinion.
I was given a great deal of support by managers and was helped with anything that I was unsure of.
At the start, work was quiet at times, however, once I had recieved full training, I found that I was very busy.
During my placement I was given a limited amount of responsibility, this was mainly due to the nature of the companies work.
I have vastly developed my skills across all areas. From all things Building Surveying to getting to know people I work with better.
The Company
Generally the atmosphere was good.
The orginisation was very good, with everything required of me being made clear.
The company were more than happy to invest in me, I was supported through my RICS training throughout the year.

Company Parties/Events
This question depends on the type of work I would be involved in. Some areas I have experienced I would not particularly like to work on during the future. Others, I would more than happily undertake again.
The Culture
I only attended a ew events with the other placement students, this was partly due to being busy when they were organised for.
In Huddersfield, relatively low.
The nightlife in the area is ok. Not being one to go to clubs, the lack of them in the area did not bother me.
There were several clubs/activities in the area to get involved with. Being a cyclist, I joined a local cycling club.
