Overall I really enjoyed this internship. Ghyston is a lovely company to work for, and there's a reason it's won awards for this: flexible working hours, friendly people, regular socials, excellent training. If you know you'd like to work for a small company in Bristol, and you'd enjoy a software developer role, this is the internship for you!
As well as being well-structured and informative, I would say that one of the main strengths of working at Ghyston is the emphasis that is placed on ensuring that the office is a place you want to be - between the well-stocked 'chill-out' area (with both food and games) and the VERY frequent company social events, I would say the internship was very enjoyable.
Working at Ghyston was an amazing experience! Everyone is super friendly and although the work could be challenging at times, there was always more than enough support and training to deal with these situations. Along with work, the social life and community that Ghyston have is amazing and it really helped to make friends and get to know your colleagues.
I enjoyed it a lot - I found that the office environment was very friendly and inclusive, but also that the company really valued hard work. The atmosphere was very motivational and you could work well without ever feeling stressed out. The staff were also supportive and I always felt that I could ask them for advice when I needed it.
I enjoyed it very much. I learnt a lot throughout the internship and the tasks Ghyston assigned to me were challenging and new to me. Also, the flexible hours was very useful and there were plenty of activities to take part in. Overall, Ghyston was very fun to work at.
Working at Ghyston was a really enjoyable experience. The work was challenging and interesting so I never felt bored during my time here. As with any job, there were times of frustration trying to get my code to work but that only made it more satisfying when I was able to solve a difficult problem I was having.
I had a great time at Ghyston this summer. The work was interesting, and there was a tonne of moral events. During my time (9 weeks) I went on a boat trip, a BBQ, paddle boarding, lots of board games nights, all paid for by the company). Overall, I had a great time
