About Ghyston

We are an independent, award-winning UK software development company based in central Bristol. Our small (but brilliant!) team works across different sectors and with the latest technology, we deliver high-quality bespoke software projects. Solving challenges is our thing; from increasing business efficiency to creating a better customer experience, we love getting to understand our clients to create the best solution.

Our internships provide an excellent route into software development as a career, as well as a perfect opportunity to learn transferable skills for a range of demanding roles within the tech industry.

We put a huge emphasis on employee happiness and are dedicated to creating an environment where people love to come to work and have been recognised as an “Officially A World Class Company To Work For” with a three-star accreditation from Best Companies. Dedicated time for professional learning and development, a highly relaxed work environment, with a fully stocked drinks fridge, a plentiful snack selection and a large chillout room featuring a pool table, and a Nintendo Switch room are just a few things to name that make Ghyston a fun place to work for.

There are also plenty of opportunities to get to know your fellow interns and the Ghyston team due to our very busy social calendar. Our morale events occur both inside and outside of working time and are funded events open to all staff. Things we have done in the past are events such as Theme Park trips, cooking classes, Go-Karting, paddle-boarding and much more!

At Ghyston we really value diversity and acknowledge the fact that diversity in the tech sector is nowhere near where it should be. We're trying hard to help improve this through our internal ED&I committee, being a signatory of the Bristol Women in Business Charter and through working with a wider range of universities, taking into consideration the diversity of students through our recruitment process.
