    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • It was a fantastic opportunity to gain a firsthand insight into life at Walker Morris and experience the culture of the firm as well as speak to the trainees. The work I was given in my department was useful and challenging and has given me a better appreciation of the type of work Walker Morris carries out for its clients.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • The trainee buddy and supervisor were really helpful and were happy to answer any questions I had and to give me guidance about how to use the online systems. We had an initial talk from the IT department and from the Librarian which was handy. I used the Library twice during the week for research and the librarians were very supportive and willing to offer help.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Having completed the LPC, it was a great opportunity to put into practice all the skills I had learnt on the course as well as gaining some new ones in the process. I was given some research tasks into quite specific areas of Property Law which has expanded my legal knowledge of this area.
