  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • It was great. we had a wide range of tasks which gave us plenty of variety.

    • all the trainees in my department were very supportive and seemed to value any work I provided for them

    • any query I had was answered fully by either my trainee 'buddy' or any other trainee

    • certainly, from seeing first hand how the firm functions, to practicing essential and foundational drafting skills. all skills will be very useful.

    • great. I don't think I would change anything

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • very supportive atmosphere. The firm as a whole has a very warm and welcoming feel to it which made settling and getting on with your tasks much easier knowing that you had an approachable support system behind you

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • Trainees were very good in fully explaining tasks, and also giving feedback. They took the time to sit me down and go through my work pointing out strengths as well as things that I can improve on.

    • it was very insightful, but in reality you can only get a limited amount of insight in such a short period

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?

    • definitely. Its one of the things I liked most, the feel of the firm, the warmth, the close knit support system within the trainees because of the large trainee intake, the open door policy that makes partners and directors more accessible. I really liked the culture.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Yes. we had various chats and social opportunities in our schedules.

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?

    • Great. very enjoyable. Trainees had an abundance of tips and advice which were made accessible in a much more relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

    • Some yes - during the scheduled afternoon chats in the cafĂ© - charity work, social do's, and some networking events
