    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • The firm's employees all aimed and succeeded in providing me with work that despite being law heavy was fun.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • Nearly every person in the department ensured that i spoke to them at least once, that i got a job at least once from each of them.

    5/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • All work provided was given sufficient background into the relevant law to enable individual work on each task, ensuring that the experience felt like a real job would. Everyone who asked or was told about my plans for university studies also offered their own opinions on the matter and how one way could be better or worse.

    5/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Considering i aspire to have a career in the legal profession, the fact that i was given actual work that the firm would do on a day to day basis ensured that i learned what type of work a solicitor would do.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • Everything was well timetabled leaving adequate time for improvised breaks if necessary ensuring smooth transition between tasks and talks.

    5/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Everyone at the firm was extremely friendly, fun and energetic. The atmosphere was heavy with work but the people there never avoided a conversation to ensure that i felt comfortable with the work provided.

    5/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The firm really helped develop my understanding of the work undertaken by solicitors and how the law is applied.

    4/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • The load of work despite being smaller than what a solicitor at the firm would actually get was well sized to ensure that at my current stage of studies (A-levels). The work was also such that would and was being done at the firm.

    5/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • 5/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • It was invaluable as it is near impossible in the legal profession for someone at the stage of studies that i am at (A-levels) to acquire a weeks placement where actual work is given.

    5/5

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • The pay was great and for my age amazing.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • 4/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • In every networking opportunity the people present never backed out of a conversation and ensured you really got to know them.

    5/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • 1/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • The organisation, people, work, facilities and pay were all amazing and there is no reason for any one to ever turn this opportunity down if they can accommodate it.

    5/5
