The Role
I enjoyed my first taste of a corporate environment and found everywhere at the company really welcoming.
Everyone was really good at helping me out whenever I had questions.
I was assigned a personal mentor with whom I had regular progress checks with.
I would say that over the course of the 10 weeks there were periods where I was very busy balanced out with some periods where I didn't have an awful lot to do.
I was given a project which was nice to be in charge of.
Some of the on the job training will really help me with my University studies, especially the Presentation Workshop that we did.
The Company
The atmosphere was a positive one.
Each intern is appointed was appointed a mentor and given a project.
We went on several courses which were really good, these included: Presentation Workshop, Sales Workshop.
I was offered a job on completion of the internship which has taken off a lot of pressure in my final year at University.
The Culture
The social life between the other students was good. With other colleagues we occasionally went out for drinks but not that often.
Not that expensive because the office itself is near Crawley. If you lived in London then clearly the cost of living would be far more.
I lived in Crawley which is very close to the office - I wouldn't personally advise this. The nightlife was pretty poor.
There was a cricket team which had a couple of games and also a few gym classes before and after work. I'm not sure what else.
