  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Really well structured, the team went out of the way to ensure I enjoyed my time in the office whilst giving me enough space to have my own responsibility.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?

    • By the end of my 9 weeks I was being delegated work that graduates would be expected to complete.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • All interns were assigned a counsellor in the first week. This gave us an outlet to chat to about job prospects, explore what life is really like at EY and seek help from at times of need.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?

    • It varied from day to day, but could tend to be a tad slow at times as the internship was during the quiet part of the tax season. It was possible to make work for myself though.

    • Maybe not so much at first, but certainly by the end I was being treated like a full time graduate.

    • My degree is irrelevant compared to the workplace.

    • For an office environment it was fairly enjoyable, colleagues chatted and had a laugh. Not too intense of an atmosphere.

    • They treated us all very nicely.

    • London is outrageous, particularly the city area

    • There's always something to do in the big city.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?

    • Generally speaking yes, I like sports and in London it is always difficult to get to outdoor sports like rugby and hockey so in that sense it wasn't 10/10.
