The Role
Exactly what I'd hoped it would be
Everyone was lovely , and very supportive and encouraging.
Was given a lot of varied tasks, all very interesting!
Not too much, but was doing a lot of independent tasks, so some rwsponsibility
Learned a lot of useful computer skills - particularly in excel!
The Company
Good balance between working and tea breaks. Relaxed atmosphere and felt like everybody wanted to be there
I had my own account and had tasks and meetings delegated. I was given lots of information at the start and had regular catchups throughout my internship
Was given the opportunity to attend numerous training sessions in addition to the training that was required. Also had chats with people from lots of different departments and was given the opportunity to shadow other departments.
Subsidised Canteen
Working from home
Healthcare/Dental
Seems like a lot of people get a job from their internship, but it depends on whether or not there are positions available at the time you're there.
The Culture
Intern Induction at the beginning was a good bonding session for interns - nice to meet people in the same situation
Not as expensive as I thought
I don't live in the area I worked in, so nightlife wasn't really applicable
Very sociable offices - lots of people meet up for lunch, and there were lots of places to go.
