  • Exactly what I'd hoped it would be

  • Everyone was lovely , and very supportive and encouraging.

  • Was given a lot of varied tasks, all very interesting!

  • Not too much, but was doing a lot of independent tasks, so some rwsponsibility

  • Learned a lot of useful computer skills - particularly in excel!

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Good balance between working and tea breaks. Relaxed atmosphere and felt like everybody wanted to be there

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • I had my own account and had tasks and meetings delegated. I was given lots of information at the start and had regular catchups throughout my internship

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Was given the opportunity to attend numerous training sessions in addition to the training that was required. Also had chats with people from lots of different departments and was given the opportunity to shadow other departments.

  • Seems like a lot of people get a job from their internship, but it depends on whether or not there are positions available at the time you're there.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Intern Induction at the beginning was a good bonding session for interns - nice to meet people in the same situation

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Not as expensive as I thought

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • I don't live in the area I worked in, so nightlife wasn't really applicable

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Very sociable offices - lots of people meet up for lunch, and there were lots of places to go.
