    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed going into the office 3 days a week. I will miss the long journey here, the project and most of all, the people.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I was treated really well by the people I worked with.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I got a lot of support and guidence with the project. It was a shame the official Internship training and careers guidence at head office was slow to happen. Today is my last day in the office and I haven't had the careers guidence yet.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I have my own project and am therefore able to manage my own workload.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I am responsible for my project. It will be checked and piloted when I leave.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I am not doing a degree or studying right now.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Nice, quite fun and busy, but also an atmosphere I can work in.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Everything at my office (Hertford) was very well organised. The canceling of courses I was booked on at Head Office felt disorganised.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I have completed a lot of training.

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Flexi Time

    Working from home

    4/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Unfortunately they don't hire that many people and the positions are extremely competitive. I have applied for positions and not even been invited for interview.

    2/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes, I went to a show with them.

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I live in London, so very expensive.

    1/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • I don't know, but probably non-existant.

    1/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • I think there are, but i am very busy and haven't looked into them.
