The Role
I enjoyed my research very much, especially because I was able to use my findings to help the young people with their daily life development
I felt that my work was very important and everything I did was highly appreciated
My supervisor guided me mainly at the beginning and then he gave me the freedom to get involved into different projects and trusted me with them
As I decided to develop some projects, then I got extremely busy but very happy to be
I was given the chance to run activities and follow up with the young people, which was beyond what I had been asked to do, which gave me the chance to learn more and develop my skills
I got a job as Vulnerable Young People Coordinator for the BRC
The Company
Always very friendly and happy to discuss any issue
Very well organised. The BRC has obviously got a lot of experience with interns and cares about their development
They trained me in the best way possible and gave me info about further development
Company Parties/Events
I got a job as Vulnerable Young People Coordinator
The Culture
Absolutely, everybody is very friendly and there is always room to speak about issues and improve the quality of our work
I worked in different areas of London, but mainly in Angel, Islington, which is a bit expensive but still affordable
Lots of pubs and young people!
Not really, but we will in the future
