The Role
It was a lot of fun and I learnt a great deal about working in a large charity environment
My input was valued and my colleagues treated me really well, I felt welcome and useful.
I had one to one sessions with my line manager and felt like I was being supported.
I varied from high pressure to medium, but there was always something to do.
I was given the lead on social media and marketing research so I ran my own research and took responsibility for social media input.
My experience has already led to a few interviews in the Events sector so it is proving very useful
The Company
It was an enjoyable place to work as everyone was friendly and relaxed
It ran fairly well with a few minor blips along the way.
My line manager helped me with careers advice, looking through my CV and providing references for me.
Subsidised Canteen
There were a few jobs advertised but no position created for me once the internship finished, which they had made clear at the beginning
The Culture
Everyone was ery sociable and friendly and we frequently socialized outside of work.
Not cheap as I was based in the city of London area
Loads of places to go and things to do, just had to watch the spending!
There were events to volunteer at and a few launch partes
