  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was a lot of fun and I learnt a great deal about working in a large charity environment

  • My input was valued and my colleagues treated me really well, I felt welcome and useful.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I had one to one sessions with my line manager and felt like I was being supported.

  • I varied from high pressure to medium, but there was always something to do.

  • I was given the lead on social media and marketing research so I ran my own research and took responsibility for social media input.

  • My experience has already led to a few interviews in the Events sector so it is proving very useful

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It was an enjoyable place to work as everyone was friendly and relaxed

  • It ran fairly well with a few minor blips along the way.

  • My line manager helped me with careers advice, looking through my CV and providing references for me.

  • Subsidised Canteen

  • There were a few jobs advertised but no position created for me once the internship finished, which they had made clear at the beginning

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Everyone was ery sociable and friendly and we frequently socialized outside of work.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Not cheap as I was based in the city of London area

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Loads of places to go and things to do, just had to watch the spending!

  • There were events to volunteer at and a few launch partes
