The Role
It was fulfilling and i had a visible role within the business.
The ability to be a team-player with a pro-active approach has successfully allowed me to work closely with the sales teams to successfully launch product/service offerings to the markets.
The business has required me to complete necessary training to ensure that I have the ability to comply with industry marketing standards. I have completed internal training and external training courses such as courses provided by the Advertising Standards Authority.
It drew immediately on my creative flair and my ability to work under my own initiative. Thus giving me the freedom to think entrepreneurially whilst demanding excellent understanding of marketing principles.
My role as a Marketing Intern fully integrated me within the Philips Healthcare Marketing and Sales team, working at the leading edge of marketing, with access to all the essential ingredients for organisational and personal success - in-depth user insights, detailed market research /analytics and brand-leading products and services.
The role has given me a huge insight into how the business communicates within our chosen markets, including the branding and positioning of the business.
The Company
Mostly field based so never same people and therefore no working community atmosphere.

The Culture
Mostly field based so never same people and therefore no working community atmosphere. Older employee mix in Healthcare and no other Healthcare Graduates for the majority of my placement.
Placement in the Southeast, used to living in the Southwest. Relitively it is very expensive.
Placement in Guildford, used to living in Manchester. Relitively it is appauling.
Mostly field based so never same people and therefore no working community atmosphere. Older employee mix in Healthcare and no other Healthcare Graduates for the majority of my placement. Joined the sports team so built most relationships in other sectors.
