  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The amount of responsibility gave me a great experience and having a large amount of other placement students at the same company with me made it a really enjoyable year.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • At the end of my placement my manager said I was a valuable member of the team. Supporting many of the sales guys I was relied upon and everyone appreciated the work I did.

  • My line manager and other colleagues were always there to support me, as throughout the whole year everyone needs support and help by other departments to get their job done.

  • I was always really busy as the role was particularly demanding but rarely had to do longer days to complete my tasks.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given a huge amount of responsibility looking after my own accounts and was allowed to just get on with my job.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • This year has been invaluable and the skills I have gained I can take with me not only into final year but my career beyond this.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • I really enjoyed coming into the office every day as the people made it a fun day.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The structure of the placement was really good with a dedicated team for the placement programme. We had specific days where all the students would come together for things like a CSR project and to find out about the grad scheme etc.

  • There was always training for all employees on particular products as this was essential for the sales team.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • As mentioned there were a large number of students at my location so the social scene made the year a really enjoyable one.

  • Reading is extremely cheap.

  • Always something to do but not the nicest of places.
