    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed it here. The work was challenging for the most part with just a bit of photocopying. I felt involved.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • When I was applying, everyone said it was the people that made it - its true.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Everyone had time for me - and I needed most if not all the help I got

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Some days there was nothing to do but that was rare. More often than not, I would say that I was almost too busy - especially in the last week.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given exactly the same stuff as a first year graduate.

    3/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Its good experience to work in an office and see if its for you. I will have to wait and see if it helps with uni work

    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Fun but when we needed to work, everyone got into the work so a good balance.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The whole scheme was very organised from the off - I was impressed.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • We had one to one meetings every few weeks to make sure we were ok. I was lucky as I got to work in other departments so its worth askings and that was a lot different so helped.

    3/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Financial Bonus

    1/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Very social - went for meals and drinks after work a lot. Not good for the money however.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I go to uni here so all my accomodation etc was paid for and I can walk to the office.

    5/5

  • Leeds...yeah

    5/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
