    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • The Shopper Marketing role is extremely varied - the ‘main’ responsibility is to support in the creation of national in-store and online marketing campaigns. However you also work on a wide range of other projects, such as: data analysis, updating trackers and reports, tracking competitor shopper marketing activity, evaluating JDE’s shopper marketing campaigns, managing an external field sales agency and an annual conference and webinar.

  • The role allowed me to develop many skills: Agency management Project management Presenting Data analysis Negotiation Communication, both written and verbal

  • Yes, 100%. You are given responsibility from day one which is really good - it allows you to learn from real projects, rather than a placement where you spend 12 months shadowing someone!

  • There was lots of support and guidance - whilst you’re given a lot of responsibility, you know that your line manager is always on hand to help when needed. Everyone at JDE is really supportive and always willing to take time to help you.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • The company culture is great at JDE. Everyone was very friendly from day one. The office is a relaxed environment and everyone was always up for a chat! People are willing to help if you ask.
