Overview
Supporting the marketing team with brand performance tracking and analysis and then distributing this information to inform other associates. Taking the lead role on refreshing the packaging of our products, where on a daily basis I communicate with a variety of stakeholders ensuring they are doing their part of the process so that the project is fulfilled on time.
Skills
Prior to my placement, I had never used industry sources such as Nielsen and Kantar, however, now I can independently extract retailer specific insights to track performance.
Responsibilities
Yes, I take lead roles on projects with support from my line manager and team members. I think it's great that I've been given this opportunity and responsibility as it makes me feel valued at work.
Support & Guidance
Constant support, I have my weekly 121's with my line manager but he always helps even if we don't have a meeting arranged.
Culture
A friendly, warm atmosphere from the beginning to the end of the day.
Your Impressions
Really enjoyed it, I've also loved being with the other interns, learning lots of new aspects to marketing and meeting new people along the way.
