Overview
Created software solutions for users in a range of departments. Helped troubleshoot technical issues for all end user devices. Installed and Maintained Audio and Video conferencing devices. Maintained Network infrastructure and provided network connectivity to users who needed it.
Skills
Yes. Communication, presenting (non-technical) aswell as Computer Network knowledge, Coding, Microsoft Power Application, Cloud Computing (Technical) skills were learnt and developed.
Responsibilities
I was allowed to come up with my own projects aswell as ways of implementing them.
Support & Guidance
There were training videos available and global associates that I could contact, aswell as my team if support was needed.
Culture
Great Atmosphere. Everyone was always keen to help if support was needed. There were large events throughout the year to get people together making it feel like a huge family.
Your Impressions
I had a great time during this year of placement. I learnt a lot of new skills and now have a great insight into what working in industry will be like.
Yes
Be ready to learn new skills quickly and work in a reasonably fast paced environment, in which you may have to juggle a lot of different projects at a time.
