    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Creating and editing content to support internal comms for the regional presales organisation. Planning and running quarterly calls utilising tools such as the immersive experience studio to broadcast to platforms such as ON24, Airmeet and Zoom Broadcasting Platforms. Briefing and coordinating content from market unit leads across the region. Supporting the set up of customer facing conventions for our presales experts to have a platform to demo at the regional Sapphire The Hague.

  • I have developed a lot of presenting skills from delivering briefs, event planning skills, technical skills and experience using after effects, time management and project management skills particularly around events, working to tight deadlines and a lot of general business practise skills.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • I was given a lot of responsibility, I took ownership over a lot of content and was involved with making key decision on branding and theming for quarterly update calls that were broadcast to a large number of employees.

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • I receive an incredible amount of support and guidance. My manager made sure to regularly check in and give us the opportunity to ask questions and was very quick to reassure us when dealing complicated very technical subjects, making sure we understood what we needed to get the tasks we had done.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • The company culture at SAP is amazing, if you're interested in tech I couldn't recommend it enough. The have such a people centric culture and do a lot to make sure their employees are supported and appreciated so they are able to work to the best of their ability.

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I had an amazing year on my placement, it exceeded my expectations. I was given so many opportunities to take on responsibility and got to work with an amazing team of people who were so supportive and welcoming. Couldn't have asked for a better year.
